The Influence of Material Viscosity on the Grinding Efficiency of Ultra fine Grinding Machines
The viscosity of materials has a corresponding impact on the grinding efficiency of ultrafine grinding machines. Here are some possible impacts:
1. Dispersion of grinding stone abrasive: When the material viscosity is high, the dispersion between grinding stone and abrasive may be poor. This will result in insufficient contact between the grinding stone and the material, reducing the effective grinding area on the surface of the grinding stone and thus lowering the grinding efficiency.
2. Accumulation of grinding stone abrasive: High viscosity materials may form a thick accumulation layer on the surface of the grinding stone, which can hinder direct contact and effective grinding between the grinding stone and the material. Accumulated materials may take a longer time to be ground, thereby reducing grinding efficiency.
3. The scouring effect of grinding stone abrasive: Materials with higher viscosity may reduce the scouring effect, that is, the impact and pushing effect of grinding stone on abrasive may be weakened. The flushing effect is important for the grinding efficiency of ultrafine grinders, as it helps to break and disperse materials, improving the grinding effect.
4. Mixing effect: When the viscosity of the material is high, the mixing effect may deteriorate. Mixing helps to evenly distribute the material on the surface of the grinding stone and accelerate the grinding process. If the mixing effect is not ideal, the material may be unevenly distributed on the surface of the grinding stone, affecting the grinding efficiency.
It should be noted that the sensitivity to material viscosity may vary depending on the specific parameters of different materials and ultrafine grinding machines. Therefore, in practical applications, experiments and adjustments need to be carried out according to specific situations to achieve better grinding efficiency.
